Add Google Calendar In WordPress Without Any Plugin.
There are some steps to follow.
Step 1:- First of all, login to your Google account and open the Google Calendar page. You can also reach this page from the home page of your Google account where all the Google products are listed.
You will see the default calendar if you have created any otherwise, you have to create a new calendar.
Step 2:- To create it either you use the “Create” button show above the left side menu or you can click on the “My Calendar” option and choose to create a new calendar.
Step 3:- It will take you to a new page where you have to choose the name and description of the calendar. Depending on your country time zone, you can select it from the drop-down menu.
If you want to show all the time zones then a checkbox is also there to use.
NOTE : To make this calendar visible to everyone, you should make it public. Check the box.
Step 4:- Now you would want to add more events, schedules, reminders and customize the calendar. Click on the “My Calendar” and you will see all the calendars. Choose the name of the calendar you have just created.
It will pop up a list of options. Choose “Calendar settings” and you will reach to a new page.
Step 5:- In a box, you will see an iframe code to embed this calendar to your WordPress website. Either you copy this code or do more customization.
Click on the “Customize the color, size, and other options” link. It will show you the appearance of the calendar. In the left side menu, you will see many options.
You can adjust the dimensions of the calendar. You can set the background colors for the events and more. After all the settings, click on the “Update HTML” button showing above the box.
Copy this code.
Step 6:- Login to your WordPress admin panel. If you want to add this calendar to the sidebar then go to Appearance>>Widgets and paste the copied code in a text box which should be added in the sidebar.
Drag and drop the text box and paste the code. After saving, you will see the Google calendar in your website’s sidebar.
You can also create a special post for this. Go to Posts>>Add New and switch to the text editor and paste the code.
Depending on your choice, you can paste the HTML code wherever you want. You can add Google calendar in WordPress without any plugin within no time.
If you want to add any extra event then it can be done by going to the same process. After every update, you have to copy and paste the updates HTML code and you’re done.
You have successfully embedded the calendar to your website.

It is always a new learning experience on Blogging Love. I always prefer to add things without plugins. A lot of plugins do increase the website loading speed. Google Calendar is a great app by Google. I use it on my phone and the trick you explained is amazing.
