Isn’t that mind striking? Are you thinking as if what does it take to build a successful blog? What are the secrets of successful blogging?

In the past few years, I have learned a lot about blogging and I can relate to the people who are still thinking about the real truth about blogging.

But what about you, what are you thinking about your blogging future? I don’t think to remind you that millions of blogs are running on the web.

Every now and then people try to find out any hidden strategy to build a rock solid blog. But they should learn that blogging is a long run thing.

In this article, you will learn about everything which is required to do better blogging.

What Are The Secrets of Successful Blogging To Turn Your Blog On?

We are not talking about any seductive thing here. Turn on means to give a new path to your blogging journey. It’s like learning about a roller coaster to enjoy it in your own way.

People are like “OH MY GOD” how is this possible to have a successful blog? What are people doing with their blog?

We all are humans and it’s human nature to know about others.

Well, you will get the answers. Here, I am going to mention some secrets of successful blogging. What are the things which make a blog successful?

#1. One Post Publishing Time Can’t Suit Everyone.

People are debating on the perfect timing to publish the blog posts and still on it. Have you ever wondered how can one time is perfect for everyone?

I mean people are living in the different time zones and every blogger has a different kind of audience. No one can guide whether the morning time is effective or the evening time.

The only thing you need to configure is about your own audience. Suppose you’re living in any country other than the USA and you have the audience from there.

  • Would you publish in the morning time?
  • What about when people wake up nearby 9 to 11am?
  • Would you consider publishing during the evening time from 6 to 8pm?

Well, it’s up to you and your blog’s traffic analytics. Google Analytics or Jetpack is there to analyze your blog.

If the traffic amount is high during the morning then go for it. The same goes with any segment of the day.

#2. The Originality Is What You Need To Adapt.

How can someone forget about the quality of the content? Even from the start of the blogging era, people have adapted the most important thing i.e the quality.

This is not one of the secrets of successful blogging. I don’t think people need to be told.

But the thing is, how are you going to maintain it for your each blog post? Well, you should always be your own and that’s it.

  • Have new content ideas but don’t copy from anyone.
  • Copy the title idea, not the title.
  • Read others’ article but use your own writing style.

What are you going to do for your current blog?

#3. Spend Some Time On The Market Research.

From all the secrets of successful blogging, one is the research about the market. There are millions of blogs running on the Wold Wide Web.

Doesn’t it freak you? Well, I am surely afraid.

But it doesn’t mean that you can’t build your blog. The thing is that you should do some research about this blogosphere and the people who blog.

Try to know about your audience type. Learn more about how people promote, connect, respond.

#4. Never Be In Hurry.

Blogging is a like heating any material with the low flame to get shiny metal. You should have some patience.

People dream about blogging success overnight.

But you should learn that it’s not a rocket science or a salt mixed cold drink which would pop-up within a second.

You have to invest your time, effort, some money.

Have you ever read the success story of any famous blogger? One of the biggest secrets of successful blogging is patience. And you would find it in the list of every successful blogger.

Do you have that determination to become a famous blogger? Do you have patience?

#5. Promote Like A Celebrity.

I am talking about blog promotion here. Don’t feel the heat of the rock concerts.

But the strategy for your blog should be the same. You should try to build a smoking hot blog promotion strategy.

Have you ever wondered why are these famous blogs getting so much traffic? Is it the organic traffic, paid traffic or something else?

Well, to promote your website, you should learn the concept of marketing. Build an Email marketing strategy, get some Facebook marketing tips.

It’s not only about the promotion of your blog, it’s about you. You should build your own brand. Try to get noticed by influencers.

#6. Connect, Connect And Connect Some More.

Do you have friends? Of course, you do. But do you have friends in the blogosphere?

There are millions of blogs and billions of people sharing their innovative ideas through their blog. But what about you?

Have you ever thought to spread your circle by making human bonds with your fellow bloggers?

Well, you will get to meet many people during your blogging journey. Now the point is how would you maintain that bond?

You should always try to make connections, comment, share, start a conversation. Use social media networks.

#7. Your Passion Is Your Weapon.

It stands for what you write and how you write.

Your passion for writing should be seen in your blog posts. Choose what interests you, not what interest the people.

People make mistakes and choose the wrong niche. Well, you shouldn’t do that. Write what you love with the integration of your emotions.

You know that your words reflect you, your thoughts, your passion, your approach.

Don’t be a lame blogger. Be the one with the active actions.

#8. Learn About The Good And Bad Linking.

This is one of the secrets of successful blogging. You all know about inter-linking the blog posts. But have you ever considered any link as bad?

Well, you should. It’s because you shouldn’t just make a hyperlink on a word “glory” to the post explaining about getting new jobs.

It’s the bad way of linking.

Try to be more authentic and interlink the posts only which are connected.

Suppose, you have written an article “A Turbo-Charged guide consisting 18 ways to be a creative blogger“. You can link this post to the phrase “be a creative blogger”.

Not some random statement which doesn’t even relate to the article.

#9. Learn The Language, Your Readers Understand.

I am not talking about French, Russian or any other language.

Here the concept of language is how you represent yourself through your words to your readers. People like a simple yet effective guide.

I know many people who add every possible word they have ever learned in their life in a single post.

I mean it’s not a vocabulary competition. Write what your readers understand. I have always considered the simple word which can be understood by even a Non-English speaker.

#10. Give Some Personal Touch.

You’re here to build the trust and it can only happen if you try to show your true side.

People like to connect with others, personally. Show your photos, tell them about your latest holiday trip, tell them about your family.

Such type of small things can be really effective. From my point of view, this is one the biggest secrets of successful blogging.

I remember how I used to read about those amazing family trips. Even you can find many blogs with full of personal stories.

Did You Come To Know About The Secrets of Successful Blogging?

After all these years, I have learned that blogging is what you make it. Every person is different with a unique style.

You can’t compel someone to like your ideas. You can only try to show what you get. The secrets of successful blog are the quality, consistency, patience, hard work and more.

People are striving to become a successful blogger. They should learn about this blogosphere and the people in it. It’s all about maintaining the human bonds.

Are you still think about those secrets of successful blogging? Well, stop thinking and start taking the actions.

  1. Hey Ravi,

    Neat.

Promoting like a celebrity is what I’m on. Still trying to get a style that will work for me. I’ve been thinking of it lately. I’m not surprised it’s one of the best ways to blogging success.

In a hurry? Can you believe I’ve only 27 posts on my blog since February, 2015? Slow but sure. Still learning.

I believe if you do your homework well as to how to promote your content effectively and efficiently, publishing at anytime wouldn’t matter that much.

    What do you think?

Is it not all because of getting quality traffic?

Say you rank #1 on Google 1st page for a keyword. And you know the art of always getting there like Brian Dean does all the time. You’ll surely get them.

So, it’s a matter of investing in learning the art of promoting well, which of course include the time of publishing.

All you need to do will be to stick to a posting schedule your audience loves, I think.

    Connecting?

I give it all to you, bro. You’re a rock star. And I admire you for that.

Fact is I see you everywhere on the internet.

Less I forget, nobody is an original. We all learn from somewhere. Bloggers only have to be UNIQUE when approaching something that already exist.

And that’s exactly what you meant by “Well, you should always be your own and that’s it.

    1. Have new content ideas but don’t copy from anyone.
    2. Copy the title idea, not the title.
    3. Read others’ article but use your own writing style.”

    Thanks for sharing, Ravi.

    1. Hey Francis,

It seems you have learned a lot during your blogging journey.
It’s always important to have a strategy for your celebrity blog promotion. Build your own style and show what you got.

Always do some homework. Search for the right keyword and generate the SEO friendly content. Impress Google and rock the internet.

Uniqueness is what you should adapt. It doesn’t matter whether you have 10 posts or 1000, if you have the quality then you can go be the unique.

      Glad you liked the article.

      Thanks for sharing your ideas.
      Have a great day.

  2. Hello Ravi, Nice words bro. As you mentioned blogging needs lots of efforts and dedication, creating our own circle of bloggers helps to share ideas and gain more knowledge.

    1. Hey Shrinivas,

The successful blogging can be done only if you have the guts to make some efforts. Kepp trying, devote your time and build a successful blog.
      Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Hi Ravi,

Great Tips! I agree with all the points you mentioned in this post.

People who want blogging success overnight should leave it right now. Blogging is not for those who are willing to earn money without spending a good time and money.

We as a blogger spend more time than a 9-5 job doer, plus our mind always thinks about blog and how we can grow our audience.

I enjoyed reading this post like always. ?

    Thanks for sharing.

    1. Hey Umesh,

There is a misconception about blogging that it’s a ready to go work. People need to understand that it’s about devoting the time and efforts.

You should try to figure out the real success rate of your blog. Always spread the content as much as you can. For the part-time bloggers, it’s really hard to manage everything.

      Thanks for sharing your views.
      ~Ravi

  4. Hey Ravi,

All of these tips are valid.

    I especially resonated with #4 and #5.

When it comes to blogging, it’s great to have a schedule to publish new content, but you want to make it work with your schedule. For me, this year it’s been once a month versus last couple of years when I attempt to put out 4 blog posts a month. I got burnt out after a while.

When I started promoting my blog posts more so than publishing, as a result I started to get more traffic as well as subscriptions. When it comes down to it, it’s all comes down to working smarter.

Thanks for sharing Ravi! Have a good one!

    1. Hi Sherman,

It’s important to have a backup plan. For holidays, you must have some posts. Most of the people schedule their posts to get more exposure. Successful blogging isn’t an overnight thing.

Blog promotion requires the perfect strategy with the perfect content. You blog once a month now and still getting quite a good exposure.
      Thanks for stopping by.
      ~Ravi

  5. Hi Ravi,

Over the years, during the course of blogging for money.

I have come to realize that consistency, hard work, ability to focus on what really matters (not vanity metrics) and learn something new every day are part of what success in blogging required.

Most beginners bloggers focus on the quick gains, this deprives them on learning how internet marketing really works.

Just last night I was chatting with a blogger. During our conversation, he was complaining of lack of traffic. I asked for his blog URL, which he was happy to give.

On visiting his blog, I could see why no one reads the content. (Banner ads all over the places. No meaningful content, just some 200 or less words. broken links everywhere.)

Bloggers should put the money factor behind, focus on building a blog worth reading. A blog people will like to associate with and proudly share with their loved ones.

If we focus on achieving this, the money will flow in our directions consistently and in abundant.

Thanks, Ravi, this really a good stuff.

    1. Hey Shamsudeen,

      You’re right.

Most of the newbies want the overnight success and blogging is not like that. You have to devote years to gain the position of a successful blogger.

Traffic is the main issue. People get frustrated in a few months and leave blogging.

People should learn more about blogging which is dependent on the consistency, hardwork etc. You have pointed all the essential points.

      Thanks for sharing your views.
      ~Ravi
