12 Things Which Signify That You Have Become A Lame Blogger
January 3rd, 2017 | by Ravi Chahar || 18 Comments |
In this blogging field, people are considered from the different perspectives. Some are famous bloggers, some are professional bloggers, moody bloggers, techie bloggers etc.
What about you? Due to the overwhelming of blogging, many bloggers are there with the tag of the lame blogger.
People are after money blogging and some of them are really lazy that they only think about money and don’t even try to embrace their skills.
Blogging isn’t for the people who want impatient.
There are many other factors which show that you are a lame blogger.
Do You Relate To Any of The Things Which Make You A Lame Blogger
The matter of fact, people are loving this blogosphere but a few are there who turned their path in the middle.
Blogging is a long run career but some people jump off the road and lose everything.
Here is the list of the things you shouldn’t do.
#1. Do You Get Afraid of New Blogging Strategies
In this era of blogging, people are trying new things with their blog. What about you?
Are the type of blogger who only wants to follow your old strategies? A blogger should always change with the time.
If you have developed the final blogging strategy in 1960 then sorry, you need to change. A blogger never remains in the past, bring the future to the light.
#2. Money Is What You Dream About
No doubt that money is one of the reasons people are blogging.
But it doesn’t mean you compromise with the quality of your blog only because of a few pennies. There are many people who are searching for the vulnerable bloggers.
And if you’re like that then stop thinking about money and start building your passion.
Do you remember the days you used to dream about becoming a professional blogger? Bring that fire in you and focus on blogging, not money blogging.
#3. You Are Too Lazy To Use New Tools
There are many blogging tools which can bring more exposure to your blog.
If you’re a blogger who is too lazy to try those tools then you are lame. It’s like dreaming about the piece of cake in your mouth without even touching it.
If you want to grow, grow your skills and start using the automation tools and other blogging tools.
#4. Your All Products Are The Same
Everything you provide is the same. Whether it’s about your own product or the affiliate product, every time you choose to sell, do it in a new way.
People like diversity and you should adopt it too. Don’t be a blogger with no potential to adopt the changes. Be the one with a difference.
#5. Are You Limited With Your Approach
People are using many tools and places to reach their audience. And if you’re the blogger who is too lazy to use even the social media platforms then you are a lame blogger.
Never underestimate the power of different places. Social media platforms are the friends of a blogger. You can reach to many people than you expect.
#6. Your Ideas Don’t Relate With The Practical World
This is something people are up for. Everyone is dreaming about blogging success but a few are there who really relate to the practical world.
Whenever you start developing your ideas, think about its implementations and then brought it to the world. Your audience is smart enough to catch your dreamy thoughts.
#7. You Neglect Your Readers
This is one of the deadliest mistakes people make.
Your readers make your blog and if you the blogger who doesn’t care about them then you’re lame.
To build a better blog, you should always think about your readers first. Connect with them in every conversation, reply to their comments.
#8. You Repeat Every Damn Old Thing
If you’re re-publishing your old content again and again then you’re a lame blogger.
Don’t be a person who is not ready to generate the new content. Always bring something new to your readers. People like diversity but only in your content.
You can improvise your old content but don’t use the thread again and again.
#9. Are You Smart Enough To Analyze Your Blog
It’s always recommended to make some efforts to analyze the ratio of your input vs output.
And if you’re the type of blogger who just keeps writing without having any idea about your blog then you’re a lame blogger.
#10. Do You Wait For The Best Time or You Create It The Best
Many people believe that time will come and they will enjoy their best time.
But the people with hard determination believe in making their time the best. They work for it and show what they get.
Time never stops for anyone. To enjoy the time, you have to devote it to your blogging journey.
#11. You Don’t Bring New Ideas From Other Places
If you’re just a blogger who is only dependent on your own ideas then pardon me, you’re aren’t good enough for this blogosphere.
There are people out there in the field who generate new blog post ideas from everywhere. You shouldn’t rely only on your storage.
Explore yourself, generate some new ideas from the world.
#12. You Are Too Lazy To Meet New People
I can understand that every person has his/her own preference but in the field of blogging, you need to make new connections.
Don’t be a lame blogger, be an active blogger who has the keen interest in spreading the network.
Explore the world with your blogging charm.
Are You A Lame Blogger? Do You Make Any of the Mistakes
Though it would be offensive to say that all the bloggers who don’t spread their circle, who don’t bring new ideas are lame but still, the point is how such things are affecting your blogging career.
Know the reasons and try to improve yourself.
Are you making any of the mistakes mentioned in the list above? What about your ideas? Are they good enough to vow your readers?
Do you always reciprocate? Do you consider your readers as the stand-alone pole for your blogging business? We would like to hear from you.
Hey Ravi,
Almost blogger for their success – they are using vast range of innovative strategies that can make them unique in performance. Everything changing very fast in this planet so we need to adopt new strategies for better performance with parallel to time.
Yes, I agree with you people are doing blogging due to money but many bloggers are passionate about it. Featured tools play crucial role in blogging, we need to adopt best tools to make it 100% successful.
I am totally agree with your amazing points and everyone need to consider them. Eventually, thanks for sharing your wonderful though with us.
With best wishes,

Hi Amar,
Blogging is a vast career where people try out new things but there are many bloggers who don’t really into that. They are just for money.
The have become so lame that the quality of the content doesn’t matter. Every time you start writing, what do you think?
I am glad that you could get the point.
~Ravi
Wooohooooppppssss!!
I am the “doer” of many many listed things…….
I can’t add much to it because they all host the very right definitions!
But I am to change myself in 2017.
Some days to go and I will be free for good!
Thanks for this ever-awesome content, Ravi!
~ Adeel
Hey Adeel,
You are doing a great job. People are loving you for your work. The only thing you should do to remain consistent. People want more quality content from you.
Be an active blogger and show what you got.
Thanks for taking the time to share your views.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi
A thought provoking post indeed. Who wants to be a lame blogger and I think this is one of the nightmares if someone is nearing that stage.
I like the tip no 10; instead of waiting for the best time, make the present one as your best time.
This is the habit of doers they turn the adversity in their favor with their will power and hard work.
Many thanks for sharing
Happy New Year.
Hey Muba,
There are millions of bloggers trying their luck. But there are a few people who are really into blogging.
Many bloggers wait for the right time. If they try to turn the time into their favor then no one is there to stop them. Laming isn’t the solution.
Thanks for stopping the input.
Have a great day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi!
It’s not easy to be a blogger and stand out these days. It’s really hard work. If someone thinks blogging is easy money they set themselves up for failure. Also, once blogging gets harder some people get tired. I hope your post will motivate many other bloggers ?
I’m guilty of not being so ‘techie’. It always takes me a while (until there is no other way) to adopt new technology to my blog. Otherwise, I’m not a money blogger.
Thanks for sharing!
Hey Ilka,
From the past few years, I have noticed many people come and go. Blogging is not a job, it’s a career path which isn’t for the impatient people.
Being a non-techie person isn’t a crime. It just the way you’re. But the main thing is how you adapt the blogging tools and new strategies.
I am glad that you could relate to it.
Thanks for spreading your words.
Have an awesome week ahead.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi,
Thankfully, I passed the quiz and I am not a lame blogger. But, when I started I was because I could relate to #10. I was always putting off a project and coming up with excuses why it was never the right time – but not anymore.
The last thing a blogger wants to do is any of these bullet’s you mentioned – especially #7. Not engaging with our readers can really hurt our success. I’m glad you added that we should always put our readers first, that’s very important.
Thanks for putting this post together. I’ll be sharing this for sure.
Have a great day and rest of the week!
Cori
Hey Cori,
In the starting days, people get excited but within a few days, they become the lazy bloggers.
It’s because blogging is not about overnight success. You have to look for your readers. Write what they want and many other things.
The more you engage, the more you get the results.
I am sure, you are not a lame blogger.
Thanks for stopping by.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi,
I passed whoopie! If you can’t do something right, don’t do it at all is my motto. Like number 10… If I waited to be “in the mood” to write a blog post, God knows where I would be.
Having set up certain times to write, proofread and publish a post is the way to go to help discipline ourselves.
I do think the most important thing to do is reciprocity! Without that we would all stand alone. It is worse than being a lame blogger!
-Donna
Hey Donna,
Every time I write an article, I thin about how would my readers react what motivate me to keep writing.
Writing for the best is what you should always prefer. The list should go on and on.
Reciprocity is something a blogger should adapt.
Thanks for spreading the love.
~Ravi
Hey Ravi,
I can honestly say that I never dreamed about blogging. Before I got into blog, I didn’t have the slightest idea that you could become successful through blogging.
As a matter of fact, I detested the idea of blogging, but what got me into it was a sponsor when I was in network marketing. She encouraged me to start a blog, so I took her advice and went ahead.
I’m so glad that I did. Although it was a struggle, but not only did Blogging grew on me, but I got fascinated with all the strategies and online tools you can use to grow your blog and home business.
So I can honestly say that at first, I fell into all of these points LOL… but now I’m very interested in the blogosphere.
Great points here Ravi! Have a good one!
Hi Sherman,
Every blogger has a story and you have yours. It’s great that someone was there to encourage you for the deed.
Blogging is all about how you present yourself. You brought it up and that’s more than enough. People dream about getting the positive results but don’t work hard enough.
It doesn’t matter it you were interested in starting or not. The thing is that you are not a successful blogger and doesn’t do lame blogging.
Thanks for your contribution.
~Ravi
Hey Ravi,
That’s an awesome list! I especially like #7. The reason behind this is that – as I see – most blogs are started without the bloggers identifying their target audience.
Since they don’t know who their readers are, they are unable to relate to them. They don’t know their problems and pain points and hence, they totally ignore them in their content strategy, product strategy and everything.
Getting back to square one and identifying the target audience is the solution to this problem.
Cheers,
Jane.
Hi Jane,
There are the different type of audience and to build a rock solid blog, you should recognize yours. Many people make mistakes and don’t face the consequences.
Many bloggers have become lame as they don’t even try to put some efforts.
Thanks for stopping by.
~Ravi
Hey Ravi,
Nice post, can you tell me what are the ways in which you make money of your blog?
Cheers,
Aakanksha
Hi Akanksha,
Money making is a totally different aspect. First, you have to build the authority of your blog and get some traffic so that Google AdSense can accept your ads request.
You can be an affiliate marketer. As you can see the WP Engine banner in the sidebar. You can use that to get more clients.
It takes the time to build a better money making blog.
