October 4th, 2016 | by Ravi Chahar || 38 Comments |
Millions of bloggers are there who are devoting their time and efforts just to become a pro blogger. Are you having the same goal?
Do you know how to become a professional blogger in today’s era of the blogging. Blogging has evolved so much during the time span of 10 years.
People are joining the internet with the hope to build their social reputation and a business which can stand alone. But are they all successful? I don’t think so.
There is no doubt that every blogger tries to find the answer of the question “how to become a professional blogger?”. But most of them fail to get an answer.
Become A Professional Blogger By Following These Tips.
It’s always been a debating topic about becoming a pro blogger. The bloggers work hard and still don’t get the results they always wanted.
No one can guarantee you the success until you do the hard work. In this article, I am going to provide you some effective tips which can help you to reach your success peak.
1. Build An Attitude Like A Pro Blogger.
People like to adapt the knowledge of a blogger who can show it with the higher level of confidence. You may have noticed that whenever you try to find any blogging course or a website to read something, you get mesmerized if the blogger has brought something interesting.
No one wants to learn from a sissy blogger. If you have guts to reveal your real knowledge then spread it with the confidence.
2. Know The Difference Between Self-Confidence And Over-Confidence.
It’s so sad to say that a few bloggers who have achieved the success don’t know the difference between self-confidence and over-confidence.
I know it’s kind of controversial, but you can’t deny the reality. When a newbie tries to ask for a little guide and the professional blogger doesn’t give a shit. Is it worthy?
Well, to become a professional blogger, it’s important to have the balance between your attitude and the arrogance.
3. Are You Blogging or Manipulating?
The most dangerous step is to manipulate many newbies bloggers with the useless tips. In my previous days, I have read many articles about how to become a professional blogger?
But never got a proper answer. It’s because some people aren’t blogging, they are deceiving their readers just to be on the top.
It’s like leaving the road and travel with an aeroplane and claiming the hard work. I mean do you think that’s what we call hard work?
Blogging is a journey which requires the time to get embraced. A blogger needs to improve his/her ways of blogging.
4. Help The Needy Bloggers.
A professional blogger never denies to help other bloggers. The newbies try to reach the famous bloggers and when they don’t get any response, they start hating that blogger.
It’s human nature, no one can beat that. So to become a professional blogger, you should always be ready to help others.
People want to know about your blogging tips and tricks. How to drive traffic to your blog? The SEO tips and tricks.
You should be ready to guide them with the experience you have. It’s always been a happy moment when someone gets the satisfaction just because of you. People like to get appreciated and you would too.
5. Focus On Blogging, Not Selling.
Most of the bloggers try to make money in their starting days. They jump into affiliate marketing and other product selling activities.
Just let me ask you a question. Are you building your blog for blogging or selling? We all know that affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money online.
But you shouldn’t sell the products which are not even related to your blog’s niche. Though it’s okay to sell the products like blogging ebooks, blogging courses, etc. But still, think about your blog before selling anything.
6. Build Your Social Reputation.
No doubt that social media plays and important role in the success of a blogger. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ etc are the social networking platforms to use.
There are millions of users on each platform and you reach to them by building your reputation. People like to connect with influencers.
If you have something to teach then people would love to connect with you. More the number of followers, more the traffic, more the success.
7. Build Human Bonds, Not Just connections.
You may have many people in your network but are they reading your blog? Well, I can’t answer that. You should check the growth of your blog without any tool.
Try to build human bonds with your fellow bloggers so that you can see them on every blog post you write. People like to remain connected with the bloggers who reciprocate.
It would enhance the bonding between both of the bloggers. Become a pro blogger with this formula.
8. Spark Your Content.
Content is present on every blog. But you want to solve the mystery. You want to know how to become a professional blogger.
For that, you should generate the content which is unique with the quality. A few days ago, one of our readers asked how is it possible to create a content if each topic is already available on the internet?
The only thing is that every blogger has his/her own way of writing style and the thinking capabilities. You can generate the content worth reading.
People want something sparkling and interesting. If you provide that, you will be their best blogger.
9. Blog Like A Pro.
If you want to become a pro blogger then the first thing to adapt is the writing style of a professional blogger. It’s quite hard to give up your own writing style but at least you can embrace it.
Focus on the headlines, the sub-headings. Attract your readers with the visual content. You should craft your blog post like a pro.
Ask your readers the questions related to the content they want. Try to write according to their need. A giveaway may also be a good idea.
10. Be What You Are.
In the journey of becoming a professional blogger, many bloggers lose their identity. They read the tips provided by others and just follow the path.
Though the journey is the same but you can choose your own path. I always mention that two people can have the same goal but a pro will make his own path to reach the success point.
Don’t copy what others provide, show your creativity and win the hurts of your readers.
Do you Now Know How To Become A Professional Blogger?
First of all, you should understand the concept of a blog, blogging, and blogger. After that, focus on the quality of the content. Help each other and connect with other bloggers.
A pro blogger never tries to manipulate or defeat anyone. He/she tries to lift others with the experience. It’s not only about a blogger or the professional blogger, it’s about you in person.
People like to connect with the bloggers who have their reputation and strong relationships in the blogosphere. I hope you have gotten an answer for “how to become a professional blogger?“.

Hi Ravi,
There are a lot of famous bloggers out there but does not give shits to new bloggers. They have their own platform and level. This is really un cool and though they earn millions, but makes them not a true PRO blogger by heart.
A great tips to pursue the dream of becoming a PRO blogger… Thanks.
Hey Ugyen,
It varies person to person. Some like to help others whereas some don’t even read the messages. To become a professional blogger, you should always try to provide the right advice to others.
Thanks for taking the time to read it.
Have a great day.

Thank You for sharing such a great information.
Hey Sathish,

The above-mentioned points can help you to get your goal.

Hey Ravi,
Great tips. I especially agree with building human connections. I think newbie bloggers fail when they think they can do it all alone, without having to get to know others. In order to be successful to have to make those connections. It’ll be harder otherwise.
~Lea
Hi Lea,
In the field of blogging, no one can do it all alone. We all need the support from other bloggers. It’s good to connect with more and more people in the blogosphere.
I agree with your point. Newbies think that they don’t need anyone to support them. But they don’t know the value of bonding.
Thanks for your contribution.
Enjoy your day.
~Ravi
Hey Ravi,
Uniqueness is an important factor in Blogging. If our blog isn’t hundred percent unique then we will not only lose credibility but also won’t be able to earn even a single penny because many programs don’t accept blogs which aren’t 100% unique. So we need to stay unique, but we can get ideas from other blogs for better self development. Reading the blogs of fellow professional bloggers can help us a lot in getting to know their strategies and how they are getting so much traffic.
Professional blogging is all about reading and writing, if we are good at writing then we don’t be over-confident because reading too is as important as writing. To start work on, and get success on something, one must know one’s strengths and weakness as well. The strategies to overcome weaknesses will come under needs, and it will help us to strengthen the foundation knowledge for a bright future.
Networking is the key to blogging success. The reason professional bloggers have a lot of followers is not only just the content but also the networking. Maintaining healthy writer-reader relationships with our readers helps us to grab more eyes. Thanks for sharing your information with us.
With best regards,
Amar kumar
Hey Amar,
Professional blogging requires your effort to generate something valuable. You should always think about the quality of the content. Writing and reading more would embrace your talent.
I agree with your point to build the networks among other bloggers. Networking can help you to reach on the top. Build the strong connection.
Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoy the day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi, great post, I can identify with all of your points. We have all been on the receiving end of bloggers who are not experienced and give you either copied information or simply false information. Some of the ‘tips’ they share can be damaging to your blogging efforts. I love blogging communities that help and support each other, and love bloggers who are out there to connect with others!
Enjoy the journey!
Hey Mandy,
In this blogosphere, there are many bloggers who are providing the useless information. And newbies take it seriously and get nothing. They should try to find the right content to learn more.
Blogging communities are always the best places to communicate with other fellow bloggers. People can connect with many influencers.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi,
One can categories professional bloggers into two main categories out of which the 1st one are the type of bloggers who’s main goal is to only make money online.
Most of the bloggers who belongs to this category don’t have enough time to teach others because most of the time they are busy to promote their premium services in shape of different courses as well as affiliate products.
On the other hand the 2nd type of bloggers are those who’s aim is not only making money, but their aim is to spread their knowledge which help out blogging community. I really love the 2nd type and you are also fit in this category.
Many thanks for sharing another useful article about how to become a Pro Blogger ?
Regards
Mairaj
Hey Mairaj,
You are absolutely right.
Both the categories of the bloggers are present in the blogosphere. Though if someone is making so much money but still, he/she can guide the newbies to the right direction.
We all are here to help each other and even money making bloggers can do that. they just have to spend some time.
Thanks for taking the time.
Have a nice day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi,
Being a professional blogger takes lots of time and efforts. A person who is not willing to do hard work and give his time to blogging won’t be able to be a professional blogger.
I liked the Tip number 4 Help The Needy Bloggers. There are many successful bloggers who are already helping and getting reward as a loyal fan.
Blogging means not just writing an article and sharing it means building a healthy relationship and being useful to others.
It was a great read. Thanks for sharing.
– Umesh Singh
Hey Umesh,
People out there with the hard determination to become a professional blogger. But they fail due to lack of the poor plans and the time.
A true blogger helps others who are seeking for the solutions of their problems. No one can become a pro blogger without making connections.
Thanks for the comment.
Enjoy your day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi,
It is all about mindset – isn’t it? You need to believe in your goals. If you want to be a professional blogger then you have to act like a professional blogger. And helping others along their journey is a big part of that.
Making those human connections is so rewarding, but is either overlooked or taken advantage of.
One thing to keep in mind is that some successful people on the internet are “internet marketers” as opposed to bloggers. They are good at their niche. They are good at doing webinars, or launching products, or marketing to email lists. They have blogs but they don’t really blog regularly. As professional bloggers we can learn from each person’s strengths but we have to recognize that person’s success came from a different area, not from blogging necessarily.
I hope that makes sense.
Hey Neena,
I have to agree with your points. If you think like a professional then a new strength touches your mind. It’s all about what you have in your mind about your goals.
As you have mentioned about the professional bloggers’ work. Isn’t necessary to judge them just based on their blogging. There are many others things which have brought them to this platform.
Thanks for this wonderful comment.
Have an amazing day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi,
Awesome points bro. #3 is so big. Lead to my failure for many years online. I feared running out of everything – money, friends, traffic, social shares – so I attempted to manipulate folks and results versus falling in love with blogging. Thank goodness I righted that ship. Much easier to have fun, to make friends and to succeed this way versus trying to strain and strive your way to the top. Enjoy the ride and enjoy Ravi’s latest blog post, I say ?
Ryan
Hey Ryan,
We all have the fear to get failed. Some have the money issue and others have the traffic issue. But no one can drag the amount of professionalism by manipulating.
Blogging is interesting if you keep indulging with it. To become a professional blogger, you should always focus on the right content.
Glad you liked this article.
Have an awesome day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi,
Spot on advice, my friend! Making connections and reaching out to help those in need is a fabulous way to earn your stars. Continuing to build a relationship with your readers is a major plus. Who knows? Those readers could turn out to be good friends!
Great post!
Bren
Hey Bren,
In the blogosphere, you can’t even imagine what a simple hi can turn into. People get connected and take the human bonds along with the blogging.
The journey of a professional blogger is tough. But if you follow the right path then it won’t be so hard.
Thanks for the support.
Have an awesome day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi
When I first started blogging I was so grateful to the pro-bloggers I timidly reached out to in my early days. And it was totally blown away by the kindness and help I received.
As they helped my skills to increase I did indeed grow to regard them as friends.
I suppose the problem for the really top level bloggers is that they could just get overwhelmed by requests for free help. However, often they may be able to find an answer from within one of their earlier posts.
Joy – Blogging After Dark
Hey Joy,
We can’t judge anyone. I agree with you about the lack of time and a lot of requests can overwhelm a pro blogger. But at least the/she should respond once. We all do mistakes and even pro bloggers do it.
People approach them to know something about the blogosphere and the strategies. So they should give a few tips.
Thanks for your comment.
Enjoy your day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi,
Great post. I think that a blogger doesn’t need to use an academic style and refer to himself as “We” or stuff like that. It’s better to imagine you are chatting with a friend about a topic you are passionate. People need to perceive you as a real person and it’s ok to manifest your personality in your posts.
Keep up the good job,
Minuca
Hey Minuca,
I totally agree with your point. The best post writing style is when you think like as if talking to someone. There are many bloggers who show only their presence and denoting with “I” or “we”.
To become a professional blogger, many things are required. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Have a great weekend.
~Ravi
well written article….always acts like a problogger…. and not be overconfident if anyone getting readers…..if anyone do this then in a very short time they can loss thier reader
and according to me always acts like a friends to readers and mainly to those who comments never underestimate because every reader who is returning reader is also a promoter of the blog.
Hey Nikhil,
For a pro blogger, you mus have that attitude but vary it from arrogance. Making friends can help you to boost the traffic to your blog.
People like to get connected and if you want to become a professional blogger then think about your readers.
Thanks for stopping by.
~Ravi
Hey, Ravi!
How are you doing today? Hope you doing great.
Amazing! It’s an amazing article.
Every of us, bloggers are struggling to fight in cyber globe and trying to stand out of the crewed.
Content is essential and crucial tool for bloggers to themselves unique, but isn’t an easy cake to create an asset content, and especially when they’re non-native writer.
I do agree, we should adapt and improve our writing style, but you have to be yourself. It’s the only you can stand out of the crewed.
Thanks for sharing…
Hey Kimsea,
I am great. Thanks.:)
In the field of blogging, most of the bloggers think that they can have everything. But they don’t do the required hard work. They just jump into the jumbo cake of mud.
The content is the key and your writing style would embrace it. You should always focus on the quality of the content. Think about your readers.
Thanks for commenting.
Have an amazing day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi bro,
I can’t agree more with your points. And among all, sl#3 and 10 have provided me with a node of realization.
We know, becoming a pro sooner or later will be the ultimate aim of almost all new bloggers. They tend to do what-nots to become so. In the process, many things of oneself get distorted and manipulated to reduce time-taken to reach that spot. But an irony is, it instead gets increased.
And, point#5 also deserves an equal attention from all pro blogger aspirants. Because in every activity one is being involved, passion/interest must come before money.
This is a good piece bro. Really helped me think over!
Hey Sherab,
The journey isn’t easy and if you’re following the wrong path then your goal won’t seem close to you. Becoming a professional blogger would require efforts, the time, determination.
The manipulation point requires more attention than anything else. People try to deceive their readers by providing useless information. Be like a pro and become a pro.
Thanks for your valuable comment.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi,
Like it “The only thing is that every blogger has his/her own way of writing style and the thinking capabilities.”
Everyone can say something unique about the topic or tell it in the way, that others will understand better and like more. And then you will find your readers.
Thanks for the tips!
Best,
Marina
Hey Marina,
It’s all about crafting the content with a unique style. Every topic is available on the internet. The only thing which makes you different is you, the way you present it.
People want something sparkling and informative content. If you’re providing it then no one can stop you to become a pro.
Thanks for your wonderful comment.
Have a great week ahead.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi.
Becoming a problogger requires a lot of hard work, determination and perseverance. To have a successful blog, we must be willing to pay the price and that price is hard work.
I like #6 and #7.
Building human bonds is really important as this helps to build trust and authority.
#10 stood out to me the most. Be you. Be authentic and unique and your blog will stand out to people.
Good Piece!!!
Hey Izuzu,
Every now and then, people dream about becoming a professional blogger. But most of them don’t have the price to pay. As you have mentioned, it requires the hard work and determination.
We all are here to help each other and if you have strong bonds with other fellow blogger, you would get the support.
Thanks for your wonderful comment.
Have a great week ahead.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi
Being a Pro blogger takes a lot of work. First a pro blogger needs to have a big vision; there needs to be a reason to blog or consistency is lost.
I love the ideas you shared especially the question ” Are you Blogging or Manipulating?”. I also agree that a Pro blogger should extend help to newbies. It is sad to see Pros being hard on Newbies.
Thumbs up to this post. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Ikechi,
To become a professional blogger, you should have the vision different from others. That flying thought to craft a blog post can work.
Manipulation isn’t a pro blogger does. You should be clear and straight.
Thanks for stopping by.
