Start With the Manual Method

You should understand the concept of having a blog and what should be done to remove it.

A blog page consists the posts you publish and each post has a comment section to allow your readers to share thoughts.

To disable it, you can just use the home page as the static home page and no need to set the blog page at all. It would be better if you remove comments from WordPress.

I am talking about totally removing the comment box.

First of all, go to Settings>>Reading and you can easily set the “Front Page Displays” as the static page. It can be home or any other page you have created.

Most of the websites are using the landing page.

Leave the blog page blank as you don’t want it. Save the settings and you’re done.

You will still see the posts option in your WordPress dashboard so that in future when you change your decision, you can easily start posting blog posts.

The choice is yours whether you want to remove the comment section or not. It depends on the WordPress theme you use.

Most of the themes don’t have a comment box for pages.

And you have decided to disable blog features in WordPress, you will have the website only of the pages.

Disabling Blog Features Using a Plugin
