You may have noticed that many websites show their location with the help of Google Map.
Do you know how to add Google map in WordPress?
Well, there is nothing hard which you can’t do. In this tutorial, you will learn the easiest way. The thing is people want the trust factor and the location can add some value.
Just a few days ago, I had a conversation in a LinkedIn group about setting the locations for a website. Someone showed a different location of his company than the actual location.
He finally admitted that he doesn’t know how to add Google map in WordPress.
A Step By Step Guide To Add Google Map In WordPress.
There a few steps to follow.
Step 1:- Go to the Google Map website and search for the location. Google will show you the map.
Step 2:- Then you will see many options including “nearby, save, send to your phone, share“. Click on the share option.
Step 3:- You will see the short URL which is used to share the map. There is another option to Embed the map. Click on that and you will see the preview.
There would be different options with the account of the size of the map. You can use the small size, medium size, large size or any custom size.
Step 4:- Copy the embed code and paste it anywhere on your WordPress website. You can use it in the sidebar, in the footer.
You would be happy to see a nice looking Google map on your website.
As you have seen during the map generation, you can edit the size again.
Can You Now Add Google Map In WordPress Website?
Most of the WordPress users go for the plugins because they don’t know that it’s so simple.
In the past few years, I have experienced that WordPress is a way easier than people think. You just have to find the right way to accomplish your goal.
Using the code manually always works.
What about you, can you now add Google map to your website?
