How To Connect To Webmail Through The cPanel?

Here we go again with the use of the cPanel of your web hosting account. You’re having a professional email address to use but don’t know how to use that. Don’t worry about that. You can do that using the webmail. You just have to access your cPanel and the account you have created earlier.

Let me show you around.

Step 1:- You have to type the email you have created using your domain name. Suppose you have the domain name “yourwebsite.com” and you have created an email account using the name “rocky” then your email address is “rocky@yourwebsite.com

You just type this email address followed by the webmail like this:- “rocky@yourwebsite.com/webmail” in your browser. Sometimes the firewall may cause the problem and don’t let this page open. So in such situation, you can try “webmail@yourwebsite.com“.

Step 2:- Depending upon the web hosting you are using the page will appear to log in. This page is the login page of the webmail located at your web hosting. So, you have to use the email address and the password you have created while setting up that account.

If you have forgotten the password then you can reset it using an option showing below the login credentials.

Step 3:- After filling to login details, you will see the three webmail clients. You can use any of the clients to access webmail.

Select one of them and the user area of the webmail will be showing to you using which you can see all the emails you have received. You can send the emails to anyone using webmail.

How To Access cPanel Email? Have You Tried It?

The simplest way to check your emails is the Gmail. It’s because people are friendly with Google and use it in their daily life. But when you enter in the professional zone then you should have a professional email address with your own domain name. 1. Hi Ravi,

Quite a helpful guide. Lot of folks are unaware about using webmail to access their emails. I personally configure my emails on outlook by picking up the settings from my hosting provider.

As personally, I don’t find the webmail very user friendly. You can also use GMail as the client, provided you shell out a monthly fee for it.

Thanks for sharing and you have a great day ahead!

    1. Hey Arpit,

It’s the matter of personal choice. There are many people who like to use webmail for their email service. As you have said that personally, you didn’t find the webmail as useful.

Well, you should know that you can access your webmail account from your Gmail account. Just connect your Gmail account for POP3 and STMP. Some people use the forwarder. But it’s secure to use the SSL.

      Thanks for your input.
      Have a great day.

    1. Hey Louis,

If you want to have an email address with your domain name then you have to handle it from somewhere. Using the webmail, you can check all the received messages and can send an email to anyone. It’s kind of great tool to use.
      Thanks for stopping by.
      Enjoy the day.
