Couple Blogging: Do You Want Your Partner to be a Blogger

Every now and then you may read about women empowerment and how women are taking part in every field. You know that it’s an era of blogging and I would say couple blogging.

It’s because there are many couples who are writing together and living their lives. Just a few days ago, I asked the same question on Facebook and people were curious to read such post.

Don’t you want your partner to be a blogger? You can write together, start your day and can have the break time whenever you want.

Though people have the different perspective towards this concept still I would say that you should date a blogger at least once.

Do You Think It Can Be a Good Idea

The biggest question arises if you can handle someone who will keep writing and writing.

Many people suggested that finding a girl and make her a blogger can be a great idea. Well, this can be a little bit tricky because you can’t compel someone to write.

What do you ask yourself when you start blogging? Do you blog for money for follow your passion?

And if you find a partner who isn’t interested in blogging then you can’t force him/her to become a blogger.

I once had a girl who used to love writing but never thought to share it with anyone else. There are many people who don’t like to share their experience with anyone.

If you meet someone who is a blogger then how do you react? What do you really ask?

  • How much do you make
  • Do you work from home
  • Are a full-time blogger
  • Are your a professional blogger
  • Can you tell me some ways to become famous on the internet
  • What’re the things to learn to become a pro blogger

Such type of question may strike your mind. The final question as if you can accept someone who is living his/her life free from everywhere?

Do you want a blogging partner?

Do You Think Couple Blogging is Odd

After doing some case studies, I have collected responses from many people. I took a survey and 32% people think that it can be really odd.

People think that having a partner with the same profession can create many problems in their relationship.

Whereas the rest of the 68% people agree that couple blogging can be really interesting.

Well, you can’t judge anyone. People have their own way of living a life. They may have some insecurities.

  • Will she be competitive
  • She will be bossy all the time
  • How can I match his level of expertise
  • What’s if we both fail as the bloggers

These can be some negative thoughts people can have. Whereas there are many positive points which can be added.

  • Having a different blogging approach will be great for both
  • It will be easy to scale with a partner
  • Same working schedule will really help
  • No complaints in the relationship

It varies person to person. Some people think that it can’t be done by anyone else. Well, to let you know, there are many many women who are ruling this blogosphere.

  • Harleena Singh and Vinay
  • Ryan and his Wife

If you have a look around you, you can find many couples who are blogging together.

Just a few days ago, I also encountered with two couples who are freelancers and provide writing services.

The blogosphere is wide-spread and many women are creating the history. People idealize Harleena Singh, Kristi Hines, and many others.

These women are not blogging alone, they have their other half with them.

Different tasks can be handled by each partner.

  • Techie side by you
  • Tech writing is by her
  • Social media marketing is by you
  • Blog commenting can be handled by her

It’s up to the person who is good at different tasks. I think it can be more productive than blogging alone.

It’s hard for one person to understand the market and stick to the plan. It can take many years to build a better blog. And it’s always better to have someone with you for help.

What’re Your Opinions on This Topic

Would you mind having a couple blogging session every day? What’re the things which can be overwhelming?

Every time I think about having a blogger girlfriend, I feel like it can be really fun. We can have a lot of common things to talk about.

To make it clear I am talking about serious bloggers who want to choose to blog as the career. I know many of you may dream about having a partner who writes once a month.

Well, think again and straighten up your thoughts to have an answer. Couple blogging can be good and bad too. It depends on your requirements and the partner you get.

  1. Hi Ravi,

Compatibility is greatly enhanced when there are things of similar nature between couples and that also includes professionalism too. Yes, to me…it can create quite an interesting, smooth and fun quotient to the relationship

  2. First and Foremost Ravi, I will say that you need to get along with someone that have similar interest with you. Therefore, to have a couple in your own profession will be a good idea which will be bring more joy, fun and happiness amongst couples.

  3. Hi Ravi,

I’ve actually seen quite a few successful couple bloggers. The creators of Create and Go comes to mind, I love reading their blog and they do it as a couple.

From reading their blog posts, I can see that they each bring their own strong points to the blog. For instance, Lauren does a fantastic job on creating Pinterest images. In fact, Alex is quick to admit it.

He will tell you straight up that Laren rocks the Pinterest images and he can’t do as good as job as her.

So while it can be a good thing. I personally think that in order for couple blogging to work, both partners have to have the drive and the persistence to succeed.

There’s nothing wrong with it and if you could get your partner to help you with your blogging tasks. That would just make it a lot easier than everything lying on the shoulders of one person.

    Thanks for sharing this article.

    Have a great day ?

    Susan
