  1. Wow. An amazing job.

A nice mentioning. I used to a tell a newbie about grabbing self-hosted service and premium theme. I asked him, do you want to start blogging as a newbie or an expert. To make your business blog professional is essential and crucial for starting a career with blogging.

This is the most I love regarding what you said. Helping each other to thrive our business is a professional habit of a blogger, and I set it as my blogging code of conduct.

What’s more, it is primary facet for successful in blogging as well as other kind of businesses. There is no matter, whether your business is offline or online, If you always help the others to do the business, they will appreciate in helping you back.

    Thanks for sharing…

    1. Hey Kimsea,

No doubt that WordPress is one of the best platforms and people who want to start a professional should choose it. Though the free platform would also do fine but still, more freedom is required.

Helping others is the master key of a blogger. It doesn’t matter whether you run an online business or offline, you must always stick to it.

      Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Thanks for the write up but mostly what I see in people is, they want to earn money from their blog. They don’t really go for becoming a rock-star or famous blogger. All they are concerned and obsessed with, is MONEY. And that’s the exact culprit behind the failure of majority of the bloggers.

    Another Aspect

They expect results and payback overnight. Remember, Blogging is just like building your muscles. You don’t get six packs overnight of just after a week or two.

    INSTEAD

Building a Blog and Building Muscles, both take Time,Dedication and Patience.

    What’s My Verdict?

In my opinion, every blogger should strive to become famous among the people of their niche. How? By providing them with Value and helping them. Instead of expecting them to give you their email address/help in increasing your affiliate commission or buying any of your product.

Blogging is simply other way around, You GIVE, GIVE, GIVE and then Expect. Let me just conclude with one Motivational quote

    First Deserve, then DESIRE

    1. Hey Jawwad,

      You got it pretty good.

Blogging isn’t just about making money. Most of the beginners jump into money making and fail within a few months. Blogging is about helping your readers and provide them the quality content.

Blogging is like building muscles. You rock it with this comparison.

It’s god to know you understand this blogosphere in a positive way. It’s all about giving and waiting for the reward.

Thanks for taking the time to read this article.

      Have a great week ahead.

      ~Ravi

  3. Hi Ravi, I wouldn’t say I want to be a famous blogger but one that could make money to not have to work a day job and make an impact on others, to help them reach their goals. I enjoy blogging and make a little money from it but I would love to kick it up a notch. I know it takes time, lots of time and patience. It doesn’t happen overnight. It also takes a lot of hard work. Doing some things you may not want to do or learn to outsource a few tasks along the way.

I love your point about writing confidently. I don’t see that tip often and it’s a really good one. Thanks for sharing with us Ravi!

    1. Hey Lisa,

As I have mentioned in the article, we all have our own perspectives about blogging. Some people want to be famous, some people want to help others. Blogging is what we all love.

Making money can be a plus point. But the main motto should be to help your readers. People think that they can be the blogging star within a few days. They should learn to keep the patience.

      Thanks for stopping by.

      Enjoy the day.

      ~Ravi

  4. Ravi, all valid points, specially the second one where you mentioned to focus on a few social media platforms which strategically fit in your plan. I have seen countless number of bloggers falling trap to this one. Spreading too thin on many platforms and not doing even “one” properly.

I myself have been guilty of that but now I have learnt and focused on two main platforms of my choice. Twitter and Google Plus in my case at the moment. Nice article, keep it up the good work. Cheers.

    1. Hey Ahmad,

In the starting days, I used to be everywhere. But now, I set the timing for each social media platform. Every blogger has his own favorite platforms and that’s what he/she should use.

If you try to be the king od social media then don’t dream to be everywhere. Just choose two.

      Thanks for stopping by.

      Enjoy your week ahead.

      ~Ravi

      1. Agreed, couple of platforms are enough. To be honest Ravi, Social Media is at number three on my list of marketing strategies now. It comes after email marketing and blogger outreach. So all that shine and glitter of the social media can be a distraction if not carefully planned. Cheers for your views.

  5. Hey Ravi,

    Great share,

YEs, indeed you shared some important basic things to look into before starting a blog.

Easy to follow suggestions, i fully agree with most of the points mentioned in.

I am sure this will be a best guide to anyone who wants to start a blog of their own.

But, i slightly disagree with one of the so called famous hosters you mentioned in. I have had a bad experience with them recently. Tat is really horrible to explain.

    Keep sharing

    Have a wonderful time ahead.

    Best

    ~ Philip

    1. Hi Philip,

Sometimes, people feel like bombarding from every side and they behave badly to others. I can understand your frustration with the famous bloggers.

It just happens due to some useless reasons.

But if you want to become a famous blogger then it would be a plus point to connect with the influencers.

      Thanks for dropping by.

      Enjoy the day.

      ~Ravi
